In search of a one-of-a-kind vacation spot? Consider exploring the Moroccan cities. Despite their differences, all four of these locations have held the office of the nation’s capital at one time or another. Those in search of a varied and interesting vacation will find Morocco to be an ideal destination. Discover the rich history and vibrant souks of Marrakech and the medieval medinas of Fez on a Morocco tour package from S & J Tours. Each location in the country gives a different perspective on the country’s past and present.

    Fez

The world’s oldest continually running school, located in Fez at the Al-Quaraouiyine institution, initially welcomed pupils in 859. The Bou Inania Madrasa is one of the city’s many fascinating old structures. An iconic structure of Islamic design, it was painstakingly constructed by hand in the 1400s. If you are interested in seeing experienced craftspeople make traditional leather goods, you should visit Chouara Tannery. Countless excellent Moroccan handicrafts are on display in the Dar Batha Museum.

    Marrakech

During the reigns of the Almoravid and Almohad empires, Marrakech was the capital of Morocco. Another well-known monument in the nation is the Jemaa el-Fnaa square. The vibrant market booths and mesmerizing street performers have made it famous. Make a point of taking your time exploring the local markets and winding lanes. There is a large variety of traditional arts and crafts, textiles, jewelry, and wood products for sale.

    The Meknes City

Meknes is a must-see for tourists visiting Morocco since it was the capital during Sultan Moulay Ismail’s reign. Make time in your itinerary to visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, as it is a significant location for Islamic festivities. The architecture of this structure is characterized by exquisite stucco decoration and woodwork that is both exquisitely carved and decorated with Zellige tiles. Although the abundance of olive trees makes the Moulay Ismail Royal Golf Course somewhat difficult, it presents golfers with a tremendous chance. This course will offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play golf against the backdrop of the breathtaking Atlas Mountains. There are many traditional arts and crafts and musical instruments on display in the Dar Jamai Museum, so be sure to stop by.

    Rabat

The contemporary Moroccan capital, Rabat, is a fantastic place to spend a day. To start your day off right, hop aboard a boat and cruise down the Bou Regreg River. Sculptures, paintings, and even experimental installations can be seen in the Mohammed VI Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. There are numerous stunning beaches in Rabat, including as Plage des Nations and Plage de Rabat, which are ideal for swimming and other water sports. As you leisurely meander through the Andalusian Gardens, take note of the pavilions, arches, and decorative features. The Kasbah of the Udayas, with its winding lanes, pastel-colored buildings, and stunning vistas, is another excellent site to learn about Rabat’s past.

With S & J Tours, Your Ideal Vacation Can Be a Reality

There is a wide variety of sights, sounds, and experiences to be had in each of Morocco’s royal cities. To really see the country, a Morocco tour package is the way to go. The exquisite dishes and meticulous preparation will enchant your taste buds. This cuisine is characterized by dishes like chermoula-seasoned shellfish, spicy minced beef briouats, and slow-roasted lamb. In every one of these cities, you can find a five-star hotel.
